Magus/Master Template
Full Name: Shizuko, Mayumi (Quiet Child of the True Bow) Age: 16 Gender: Female Personality:
Personality? What personality? The general appearance Mayumi takes on is one of bored disinterest. Her face will reflect no emotion at any given time, and her movements will never changed based on emotion. For example, if one got angry, one might clench their fist in rage. Mayumi would not. It's not that she doesn't FEEL any emotions. She just doesn't know how to express them. She had the ability to physically show any emotions that she is feeling nulled. Her magic nature sapped that from her. Instead, she actually verbalizes any emotions she feels. If she's angry, she'll say so. Happy? The same. She'll just never show it in her face or actions.
Under the surface, Mayumi is actually a very nice and caring girl. She never raises her hand against anyone who hasn't wronged her, and will refuse to fight those who don't deserve her wrath. Only if you have earned her spite, or if it is necessary, will she pick a fight, or accept one. She feels that all people, no matter what crimes they've committed, deserve at least one chance.
If her emotions could show, she would be smiling most of the time. She generally keeps an upbeat and happy attitude. Her outlook on life always leans towards the positive, and despite her bored appearance, she is easily amused and very upbeat. The only thing that can set her off and act as a "berserk button" would be threatening those she cares about, any servant of hers included. She won't stand for it.

Magic Type:Enchanted Archery, Rank E Mayumi's signature magic, the use of her magic ability to enhance her bow and arrow. This allows her to access a variety of shot-types.
Sample Spells:
Explosive Shot, Rank E: Mayumi may fire an arrow that explodes in a fireball on contact. This may be used as a distraction or to do damage to an environment or a person.
Tri-Shot, Rank E: Mayumi fires a single arrow that then splits into three, each one doubling in speed on their path towards the opponent.
Tri-Explosive Shot, Rank E: Exactly the same as the tri-shot, except each arrow now explodes on contact.
Frozen Arrow, Rank D: An arrow that, when it makes contact with any object, living or non, will coat said object in two layers of ice and frost, effectively freezing it/them.
Leech Arrow, Rank C: An arrow of devious and sinister nature that will siphon mana out of whatever target it hits at a slow rate, transferring that mana into Mayumi's bow, which will then transfer that through her hand into her body.
The Servant Killer, Rank B: Mayumi's most powerful arrow. When contact is made between said arrow and a servant, it will send signals through that servant's body, blocking off all mana that the servant's master is feeding it, and draining said mana into the arrow, effectively cutting off that servant's mana supply. Once the arrow hits, the shaft and tail will break off, leaving the head buried inside the servant. Unless the head is removed, there is no way to keep the servant's mana flowing.
Archer's Blessing, Rank EX: A hugely draining spell, and the reason Mayumi can no longer physically express emotion. Archer's Blessing is an enhancement to the reflex, sight, and strength of Mayumi. Her fired arrows not only travel much faster and more accurately than any other human or magus archer's could, but they also gain a magical property that allows them to turn in the air, not losing speed or momentum as they swerve around obstacles on their way to the target. However, this does not mean her arrows always hit. They still can be intercepted, or blocked by another object.
Crest Spells: Mayumi's crest is actually locked to her. The spells that she can use with it are unknown and unreachable to her.
Background:
Mayumi was born into a fifteen-generation magus family in a small, rural japanese town. Her parents had hidden away there to keep heat off of their family, as with the Holy Grail wars going on, Magi were being hunted. Their children stolen to be bred for master status. Kikyo and Jintei did not want this fate upon their daughter, so they hid away with her. Their hut was a small one, but it was cozy, and there was enough room for both parents and the one-year-old Mayumi. Named after her grandmother. The young Mayumi, her magi heritage shown plainly through the crest on her breast, was raised mostly indoors, kept from the outside world to avoid any possible detection. Her schooling, then, was also done at home. The young Mayumi was never much of a social butterfly. But then again, she wasn't allowed to be.
When she reached the age of six, her parents began training her in how to control her mana, her magic circuits, and her magic. They began tutoring her in the ways of magic, and began to teach her their lineage's signature art. Enchanted Archery. Her parents taught her their techniques, and their specialties of arrow-type. However, it would be three years, on Mayuri's eighth birthday, before they taught her their favored technique. Her father sat her down and told her that there would be risks to teaching her this technique, and the mana it used up could have side effects. Mayumi was too excited to care, so they proceeded. Her father spent months training her, slowly teaching her the Archer's Blessing. When it was complete, Mayumi was euphoric. She tried it out on a target.. but far too soon. Her magic circuits weren't ready for the effort. It screwed up her nervous system, rendering all physical expression of emotion impossible. Stunned and traumatized by this, Mayumi ran from home, traveling alone for miles until she reached an abandoned church in Fuyuki.
It was here that she based her training. She spent the next eight years constantly training her magic and herself for one task. She wanted to enter the holy grail war. She wanted it for one reason, and one reason only. To wish for the power to use her magica without her physical emotion being disabled. On her sixteenth birthday, she set out to become a master, and in turn, find a servant...

Thread from Platinum Hearts with my Sugiura Kameko:
Kameko.. didn't think she had ever been this happy.. here she was.. out on a walk with her queen.. the only person she could ever admit to.. well.. "loving" in the traditional sense at least.. She had held her feelings in for so very long.. and then.. one day she could do so no longer.. And when she confronted her queen, when she inquired about what the future may hold.. her queen was adamant about wanting both her husband, the king, Otoya, and her, Kameko, in her life. She wanted to be with both of them.. and that in itself was enough for Kameko to get misty-eyed.. she had fallen so far already for this wonderful woman.. could things really become this perfect? She could've sworn she was dreaming.. But.. it felt more real than anything she had experienced before.. Any battle was now invalidated.. any quest was now pointless.. she had the love of her life.. that was all that mattered.
Ba-thump
Her boots gently scraped along the hard concrete.. her eyes traveling through the canopy of trees above them.. the leaves that danced in the wind reflecting the twilight sun in a beautiful symphony of yellows, oranges, reds, and browns. The colors cascaded through the air like a waterfall, keeping the tranquility of the evening close to the hearth as the spectacular aerial ballet graced all who chose to spectate with its beauty and harmonious symmetry.
Ba-thump
Kameko's heart was pounding.. she couldn't bear to look at her queen.. the nervous jittery feeling she had in her heart and mind was unshakable.. This.. this was a dream come true.. wasn't it? So why was she so.. scared? Kameko chuckled at herself, her throat seeming to constrict itself out of.. sheer fear. Or nervousness.. or anxiety? Maybe it was a mixture of the three. She couldn't really tell, currently.. but.. the butterflies she felt making her stomach twist were a good thing, right? It meant that she was with someone she loved. . Right..?
Ba-thump
Kameko gave a sad smile at the ground, her eyes following the cracks in the concrete back and forth as she tried to avoid looking at the figure that walked next to her. The beautiful queen she had served for so long.. What was keeping her from looking? She had to wonder as her eyes slowly crossed the sidewalk, reaching the feet of the one who walked next to her and travelling upward, as slow as she dared. She had no.. legitimate reason to be worried, of course.. it was just her nerves getting to her..
Ba-thump
Slowly, her eyes climbed.. waist.. stomach.. neck..
Ba-thump
Her eyes were right below the face of her love now, the woman she had fallen for so deeply. Here it was.. time to look up and face those beautiful eye--
Ba-thump, ba-thump, ba-thump
BEEP. Ba-thump. BEEP. Ba-thump.
Kameko's eyes fluttered open, she could register what.. one of the noises was.. she knew that the beeping was the alarm she had set.. some infernal human device for waking up "on time" as it were. She saw absolutely no point to it, but.. apparently it worked. Kameko groaned, reaching a hand up from under the silk sheets and placing it on top of the clock, feeling around for the off button she remembered seeing on the display picture. Where was it.. damn it all.. that BEEPING! Kameko snarled, slamming her fist down on the clock, promptly smashing it to bits as the alarm slowly died down, much to Kameko's satisfaction. A new desire to sleep overtook the sugiura as she rolled on the bed, facing the opposite direction of the destroyed clock and closing her eyes. Time to get an hour or two more of sl--
Ba-thump
Oh for the love of christ. Kameko groaned, rolling onto her back and sitting up, her silk sheets hanging on to her naked form by the shoulder as she looked up at the ceiling, realizing that the source of the banging was from above her, where, after quite a bit of research, she had learned that there was a family of four who currently lived there. A single mom and three kids. Pathetic children, running around like animals. Kameko snarled slightly before collapsing backwards onto the bed, reaching her hands under the lace pillow that her head was resting on and lifting both ends, pressing them hard against her ears to try and muffle out the idiotic noise. It worked.. sort of. She couldn't exactly HEAR the noise anymore, but she could FEEL it now. Reverberating through her queen-sized mattress, mocking her, violently shaking her to intentionally disturb her sleep.
Fuck it, Kameko thought as she slowly resigned herself to releasing the pillow, letting it fall back into place, albeit slowly, as she wearily pulled the sheets off of herself. Kameko sat up, stretching her arms into the air and yawning, her long green cascading behind her and stopping around her waist, moving back and forth slowly as she stood from the bed, noting the pins-and-needles feeling of a limb that was still asleep shooting up her right leg as she put the pressure of standing on it. Damn, must've slept wrong..
She blinked a few times, rubbing her eyes to clear the sleep away before looking around the apartment. A simple morning routine, make sure she didn't get drunk and break everything. Alright. The small-ish apartment consisted of only the one room. The entirety of the apartment was the one room, save the bathroom, which left a lot of space in the middle. There was her bed, on the west side. The most elegant thing in the room, lace and silk adorning it. The large dresser containing all her clothing was standing next to the bed. Oak, double doored. On the north side, the kitchen. A stove, an oven, cabinets, a sink (the faucet itself being almost completely white from all the limescale), and a refrigerator (always stocked with what Kameko wanted, never quite with what she needed, hence her constant grocery runs). On the east side, a door that leads to the bathroom, a simple 10 x 12 room with a stand-up shower/bath combo with a see-through curtain, a sink and counter with a hairdryer, a razor, tissues, soap, and deoderant resting on it, and a toilet, white, padded. Also on the east side was a roof-to-ceiling see-through door that led out to a 7 x 10 balcony, showing an amazing view of the city, especially at night. There was also a tv, 42" plasma that sat on a small stand against the wall between the two doors. On the south side of her apartment was a coat rack, the door that led out into the hallway of the twelve-story complex (she lived on the eleventh, just for the nice view, but the kids above got annoying.). Smack dab in the middle of the room was a sofa, about 2 yards wide, that reclined, facing the TV. Black, old leather, comfortable as hell. Kameko nodded, making sure everything was in place before walking drowsily to the shower, pulling back the curtain and turning the water on, cranking it up to the place she had memorized as being the heat she was comfortable with and letting the bath water spray out down the drain while she examined herself in the mirror, still trying to wake up.
She was, of course, Kameko Madoka-Sugiura. Knight for Misaiko Sugiura, Queen of the Eastern Clan, of whom she had just had dreamed. Sadly, everything from her confessing her love to the queen, all the way to the walk, was part of the dream. Kameko gave a small sigh, she was such a coward.. unable to even profess how much she loved the only person who gave her purpose. It was.. pathetic. She looked her own body up and down in the mirror. Five foot, nine inch height, check, she hadn't grown at all since some time last year. She poked her stomach, a small imprint being left on the pale skin which quickly faded. Kameko sighed, she was only a hundred and twenty nine pounds. Really skinny for her height. Some would even say scrawny, and that could certainly apply, as a bit of her weight came from her C cup breasts anyway. However, her build was a deceptive one, as she carried more strength than most male sugiura in the muscles she had. It was all in her power, really. Kameko looked straight at herself in the mirror, making eye contact with her reflection. The pale, golden eyes met themselves for only a second before Kameko turned around to check the water. She slipped her hand under the faucet and felt it, perfect. She slid her hand over another dial in the wall, turning it all the way as the bath water stopped and the shower switched on, the water blasting down into the tub beneath. Kameko pulled back the curtain further and stepped in, closing the curtain and facing the wall opposite the showerhead. The hot water, not quite scalding, but close enough to tingle, hit Kameko's shoulders and upper back directly, spraying over her shoulders and against the wall. The hot spray had.. a bit of a sleeping agent type of quality to it.. Kameko could feel herself dozing off, even standing up like this.. She could vaguely make out the shampoo and soap dispensers on the wall next to her, and she shook her head to try and wake herself up. Come on, Kameko, pull it together. The day has started, it's time to face it. Resignedly, she raised a hand under the soap dispenser, raising the other hand to the small, cream-colored button and pushing it in, rewarded by a large dollop of the red soap dropping into her hand. It took her about five minutes to finish applying the soap and rinsing it off. As she repeated the dolloping process for the shampoo, she pumped a few extra helpings of it into her hand. pushing the lot of it onto the very top of her head and rubbing it in, allowing the large, foamy, helmet-like mass of shampoo build up before sticking her head into the water, letting the shampoo naturally flow down her long hair and down the drain. She had discovered quite a while ago that this was the most effective method for washing it. After close to ten minutes, she was satisfied and sure that all the shampoo had been washed out. Reaching for both dials on the shower, she turned them both into their respective "off" positions, and pulled the curtain back once more, stepping out into open air and grabbing two towels from the rack on the wall. One wrapped tightly around her hair, suspended vertically in an ideal drying position, and another wrapped around her body at the armpit, the elongated towel ending around her knee-area, which she held in place with one hand, using the other hand to open the door, walking out into the main room and closing the bathroom door behind her, leaving the lights on as she always did. Going green was not a concept she was familiar with, really.
Now, why would a knight for a clan that was so inhuman be slumming it in an apartment complex owned, operated, and inhabited by only humans? Simple; she was on stakeout. Part of being a knight was watching potential threats, trying to discern who would be best to keep watch on, and who could be left alone unless they tried anything rash. One such target had been assigned to her over the course of this week, but she had already discerned that he would be no threat. At least.. not for a while anyway. Just a punk with no idea what he was doing. Kameko had discovered a while ago that it was really inconvenient moving around randomly during stakeouts such as this last week had been, so quite a while ago, she had bought this apartment (using some yen given to her by a rich gentleman who had wished for her "company" one night. Needless to say he lost more than just his money. Kameko didn't appreciate intolerable pigs.) and had been using it as her base of operations, of sorts, for any stakeouts since.
Kameko stretched, waiting for a few minutes by idly standing around before removing the towel from her head, tossing it onto the couch and pulling the one off of her body, tossing that one to the couch as well. She really didn't have any need for them now that she was dry. She wasn't too worried about being seen naked in HER apartment. That would just be silly. Crossing to the dresser, she pulled out a white robe with buckles and black bands across the front that made it look eerily like a strait jacket. For the lower half, Kameko chose a pair of tight black pants that accentuated her figure and her noble air stupendously. Below that, white socks, black boots. Kameko leaned forward, whipping her head back to toss her hair neatly over her shoulder as her bangs fell over her forehead, covering the bird-shaped sigil that hid most of her powers. No reason to scare all the humans, was there? Well, she thought, guess it was time to face the day. Grabbing her key off of the night stand, she walked to, opened, and walked out of, the front door, slipping the key into a small breast-pocket on her shirt before closing and locking the door.
Proceeding down the hallway, she took care in not letting her boots fall too heavily on the floor. It was still early, and there could be people asleep in the rooms on either side of her. She may be a bit of a hard case, but she was still courteous. She sighed, even from down the hall she could hear the banging noise from upstairs. Damn kids. After about fifteen rooms passed, Kameko reached the elevator, pressing the button to find, luckily enough, that it was already on her floor. She walked in and pressed the button for the ground floor, waiting patiently, leaned against the wall, for the elevator to reach the bottom. After an agonizingly long amount of time, the soft "ding" of the elevator and a rush of steel as the doors opened indicated that she had arrived. She strode out into the lobby, proceeding towards the doors, grinning at the "woosh" as the automatic doors swished open on either side, allowing her passage through. Once entering the morning air, she sighed contently. This was her favorite place to be, outside, in the open. She inhaled deeply, taking in the crisp scent of downtown karakura's early morning.
Kameko sighed a bit, taking the short trip out of town from the complex to the outskirts. Since the stakeout was, in fact, no longer going on, she would have to return home soon.. She gave a soft sigh, that's what she was afraid of. She didn't really want to go back. Not that she didn't like being there, or serving her queen, she did. But under those circumstances.. She couldn't bear to be there for too long at a time.. watching Misaiko day by day.. protecting her.. and yet unable to do anything about her feelings. Out of what, cowardice? She groaned internally, kicking at the ground and slipping her hands into the pocket of her robe as she walked. Eventually, she saw someone else. A male, by the looks of it, sitting in the grass. Kameko didn't bother feeling for his reiatsu signature, she didn't care who or what he was right now. She walked to him, sitting in the grass a few inches from him and staring in the same general direction. "You contemplating how much life needs to give you a rest as I am? Or is your life just so fantastic that you can afford anecdotes like this on a daily basis?" Kameko gave a sarcastic chuckle, crossing her legs and picking at the grass by her body, pulling a few strands of it out of the dirt and tossing it into the wind, watching the green dance against the breeze with a regretful glint in her eye.
