A chance meeting, a Gods contract Empty
PostSubject: A chance meeting, a Gods contract   A chance meeting, a Gods contract EmptyFri Mar 18, 2011 5:17 am

Fuyuki City was unusually quiet right now. Sure, it was nearly midnight, but lately, every single night was dead quiet. The air felt heavy, no matter where - an omen of darkness over the once peacful town. It seemed like time was going to repeat itself. Magi from all around the world were preparing to come to this town. The lone, black haired man wandering the streets was deeply worried - but not about himself. He was a Magus, after all, prepared to die any day. However, also because he was a Magus, he knew that some of his students were Magi themselves, or at least had the potential, even though nobody was aware that the sports and math teacher was one himself. Well, maybe that was also because he was a terrible Magus so far, since he never finished his training as one.
That worry was also the reason he was wandering the now dangerous streets of Fuyuki - to protect the citizens, himself and his students. Others would call that idiotic of a Magus - to protect other Magi instead of trying to get the Holy Grail. But the scarred man had no reason to desire it - he wouldn't be able to use it anyway. But suddenly, the air around him changed - like a strange smell, or feeling, running through him. Not a dangerous one, not a warning of his instincts - the man dashed forward, running around a corner, and into a small sideway. Someone... was here. A Servant. A very weakened one.
"Don't worry. I am not your enemy." The Magus showed no emnity or fear, either. Slowly, he walked closer to the spiritual being, but kept a distance to her. Since it was deepest night, he was for once not wearing his sunglasses, revealing deep blue eyes with a strangely kind sparkle.
"What happened to your Master? Or did you not even have one? Oh well, never mind that. You need help, or else you'll vanish soon."

A chance meeting, a Gods contract 688701a349a9a12d6004c151e8690b7e-2

"..." The midnight, was air, felt cold and unwelcoming, it could be worst, their could be rain, but right now the emotions of one girl, weren't worried about the weather, no, it was the loss, It wasn't exactly a normal girl, due to the unstable grail, she was summoned on her own, what was her intention?; Where did she want to go from here? did she even have a purpose. Just what could she find in a life like this? A heroic spirit such as this girl, Amaterasu, the goddes of the sun, was not unusual. She was use to losing those around her, and being left alone, and locking herself up. But, why did she feel so much pain?; it could be said, that recent events were the cause of the sadness. Her life, was always filled with the riches and treasures of the world, and she had many things to be happy about, however, an ever lasting loneliness. Her two brothers, separating and leading different lives, then her own. So much, that she felt like a stranger to both of them. Thus, Loneliness was something she couldn't stand. She wasn't much of a hero, under pressure, in her own life, after hearing the death of her close confidant by the hands of susano'o, Amaterasu, who was in fury and grief, hid inside the Ama-no-Iwato ("heavenly rock cave"), thus effectively hiding the sun for a long period of time. She surely felt betrayed at the time, but still, she had that wish, that her brother and herself, could enjoy each other's company once again. So why? what could the girl who's experienced such loneliness find in being summoned as an heroic spirit?

She was summoned as a saber class servant, and joined with a master, a sweet and caring woman, who had the intention of stopping the grail, due to the unstable wish caused, the war to go haywire, summoning servants everywhere, due to the wish of "eternal war". She enjoyed that kind of bravery, so she went along with that woman, and believed she would ultimately reach her wish of reuniting with her brothers. However, What she felt, was more loss. Up till now everything was going alright, until a high level magus, attacked the master, ambushing the both of them. What actually shook her the most, was to see her brother. She actually felt happy until he attacked her, as if she were a stranger. She regrets the day, as she wasn't able to save her master. Right now, she would probably disappear right now herself. "...nn...but i was just finding my purpose for being in this war...." she lamented, tears were forming at her eyes, and rolling down her cheeks. Her clothing, was not unusual, but it had a sort of shine, that could be found on armor. It was a beautiful black dress, which traveled up to the middle of her legs, while she sported thigh highs, with white frills accenting the over all dress. She had a wound or too, nothing was too large, but due to the loss of the master, her time was limited at the very most, she had a few minutes to wish for things, and how they could've gone better. But, she was digressing, even someone as high as her, couldn't find true happiness.

"...? ? " Her eyes, looked up, to see a large muscular man, taller then her by quite the amount. those tear-stained eyes, looked up at his own, and she just lost it, she didn't want to disappear. She wanted to stay, she felt that she had a purpose, after her brother's re-appearance in this war; So she couldn't just go now. Her arms grabbed onto him quickly, as she buried her face into his chest, she began crying even more. She must have not felt fear, from this man, and his words were firm, and kind. She couldn't help but say three words, over and over to him. I dont want to disappear, I don't want to disappear, I don't want to disappear, now, if the man didn't care about the war, he would go away now, but for some reason, she wanted to believe that he would be the one to help her progress through the war this time, and find her brother. That was her only wish. Could he fix the loneliness that plagued the goddesses life?

If there was one thing Kagetora did not expect, then it was for the masterless Servant to suddenly jump at him in THIS kind of way. He would've been prepared for a being so mighty as a Servant to attack him as a test, or even to attack him with pure killing intent, with no wish for the war. But right now, this head pressed against this chest... the tears he felt through his clothing. The trembling body. Right in this moment, just for a second under the night sky - the Magus forgot that he was an agent of the Magic Association. Just for a moment, there was only this girl here - trembling in sadness. His heart as a man, a teacher and a human at the same time cried out to help her.
The smart thing to do for any Magus would be to ditch a Servant such as this. An emotional wreck of a spirit? With the grail as it was, everyone could summon a Servant with a fitting artifact. Putting up with something like this was suicidal. But this wasn't the first time Kagetora broke all logic rules of the Magi. He was not like other users of Magecraft - he was a man who followed his heart, not his head.

So instead of pushing her away, or even finding out what Heroic Spirit she was first... He only heard the words. 'Don't want to disappear...' Ringing in his ears, over and over again, the muscular Magus raised his right hand, and with more care, calmness and also gentleness than one would expect from such a big Yakuza-looking human, slowly put his hand on top of her head. The smile on his face and the touch was light, and had such a calmning nature to it, that time seemingly stopped in this sidewalk.
"Don't worry. I'm here now." The deep voice filled only with truth - a truely honest man. In fact, a man this honest, this pure, even as a Magus - did he even have any desire as a mage for the grail? Any normal magecraft-user would want the grail more than anything, sacrifice their whole family and friends for it. Unlimited magic, the ultimate power. Maybe it was unfair from the girl, to ask such a man. He had no desire for such power, yet he would blindly run into danger and help a stranger just because that stranger was so deeply sadenned. But wasn't it alright... to be selfish once in a while? For sure, it was. And it was not like there was any god that had to forgive an actual god for being selfish.
"You won't disappear. I won't let that happen." The smile on his face was determined, the deep blue of his eyes unwavering. Did such a man even know fear? Most likely not. Death was a shadow he long since locked away from his mind, and the fact that this war could easily mean his death was not frightening him one single bit.
"My name is Kagetora, and I'm a Magus. Let me be your Master." If kindness was a crime, then Kagetora was in for the death row now. Offering a Servant, with strength unknown to him, to risk his life. "If you want the grail or not... I don't really care. I just don't want you to simply disappear. Accept the contract... whatever happens next, is your decision. No man would just turn his back on someone in a pinch like you." If he could help lessen that sadness just a bit, he would be happy. He couldn't help but be remided of his students a bit right now... not only because of the appearance and height of this Servant, though. But also because two female students he knew of were Magi - hopefully, he wouldn't have to fight them in the future. He did not know if any of them were Masters in this war, or were even aware of the war existing.

A chance meeting, a Gods contract 688701a349a9a12d6004c151e8690b7e-2

—Those Tears, were suddenly stopped, by the warmth of the man's hand. Just as that man was surprised, then there must have been an equal and mutual feeling between the both of them. Her former master told her a story of magi, they were people who couldn't involve feelings in any situation, almost like machines, they were truly supposed to be cold hearted. it wasn't a choice that they may have enjoyed, but with the holy grail war at stake, such cause had to happen. After all, there could only be one — If a magi showed emotions they would automatically be viewed as weak, and by that standard, more liable to lose. As such, they had to turn their hearts into steel. That was the hideous truth, of the life as a magi. It wasn't simply smiles and sunshine, when it came to the every day life of these humans who could perform magic. Yet, there and then, That's exactly what her master did. She showed her that magi could show love and compassion, and defeat anyone, without killing them. It was certainly something that was most admirable of this woman. She was remembering the times, even when confronted with this man.

—His warm and kind personality, definitely did not match his appearance, one could most ultimately reach that conclusion, But, it was through that, she had found interest. He was a kind man, she believed these words to be genuine. Whatever the future may have held for the two, she would protect him, until they reached their respective goals. She could definitely tell, from this man's kindness, that he wasn't like all the other magi. He was different, certainly idiotic in other's eye's, but a savior in her own. One could even say, that she felt like he was more of her hero, then anyone else she might within her former life as a goddess. Her sadness was washed away, completely erased from her face, after a while. She had decided that this was the path that she would take. She didn't even know what she herself, was getting into. Yet, that was completely irrelevant in her mind. For her, this was a blessing in disguise. She looked up at the taller man and nodded in agreement, there was no going back now. Her path had been decided the moment these two met.

"I don't want the holy grail, for a goddess such as myself, I've already accumulated so much, that i simply only want one thing, and that's to go back and reverse the tragedies that occured between me and my respective brothers...Tsukuyomi and Susano'o, one has been summoned in this war, most likely i can possibly deduce, that he is of the caster class." She said, giving him a small explanation, of what she truly wanted. "But none of that matters now, Because i know that with you, i will not be lonely. If you don't have a wish, then that's fine...I'm just happy that people like you exist in this world, if only you were one of my confidants, during the time of gods, i'm sure i would've been quite happy..." she said with a highly appreciative tone, that was then followed up, with a innocent giggle, something befitting of a goddess that was supposed to be mature. "Oh, oH! sumimasen sumimasen!" she just realized, that she forgot to tell her, her class! — That was a close one, had she talked any more, she would've disappeared. "Master, i am of the saber class, with the noble phantasm, Kusanagi. Please make a contract with me" she said solemnly and gracefully, while she looked back into his eyes. If she could describe this moment, then she would say that it felt like heaven. Ironic, if anyone knew where the goddess originated from and what she was born to do. Yet, it was because of that ironic action, that this moment was all the more perfect.

PostSubject: Re: A chance meeting, a Gods contract   A chance meeting, a Gods contract EmptyTue Apr 12, 2011 4:46 am

The smile on his face only turned more understanding as he figured out just what heroic spirit she was. Tsukoyomi? Susano'o? Her brothers? It was blatantly obvious, even without her saying it. He would have to tell her not to talk about that in the future in the open like this, her identity getting known could be dangerous - to her and him. And the tall man wanted to protect this Servant that seemed so wrong in this war. Her apologizing just made her seem even more like an innocent type of goddess. Did the Holy Grail have no class in what spirits to summon? Most likely not.
"It's alright, don't worry too much. But... do me a little favor." The smile brightened up a bit more. "Just call me Kagetora."
Slowly, a buildup of Prana could be felt in the air. Kagetora was anything but a good Magus, but forming a contract with a Servant was possible for everyone in this everlasting war, for as long as the Servant was willing. "Called forth by ancient power. Abide thy destiny. Called from thy throne. Accept the hand of thy guidance." Slowly recititing the spell, a red light began to surface on the lower right arm of Kagetora, not on the back of his hand, curiosly enough. There were many spells for it, considering a chant was to enchant oneself to funnel Prana in the correct way. That was the basic concept of spellcasting and magecraft.
"Formed bond, three pale stars. Everlasting suns blessing. May glory find those destined."
With the last sentence, the prana died down - but instead, the three command spells formed. A circle with a small sun symbol in the center, and surrounded by another circle like fire - a sun in a sun, the command spell of Amaterasu, the sun goddess. With that, the slowly vanishing body of hers was bound to reality once more. Letting out a small sigh, Kagetora was more tired than he should be. He really had to step up with training magecraft and becoming better.
"That should do the trick for now. How are you feeling, Saber? Can you stand on your own now?" Not that Kagetora would mind carrying her off if he had to, but it was a bit embarassing to have a female cling to him all the time, even if she was a Servant and those thoughts were ridicolous. Of course, he did not use her real name - that would be suicidal. He would call her Saber for now until they figured out a fitting cloaking name.

A chance meeting, a Gods contract 688701a349a9a12d6004c151e8690b7e-2

—A smile was now upon her face again, a sweet smile that she had only had during the times when she was happy with her brothers, this must've meant that something grand were to happen, or at least amaterasu had hoped that things would play out that way. After all, this man had a heart of gold for a magus. Most of them were truly despicable monsters, they didn't possess care for servants and only used them as tools, to reach the grail. She couldn't stand that, she felt that it was an embarrassment to the legends of heroic spirits, who's tale's traveled far and wide, and transcended time it's self. If they were going to summon servants, they could at least have some level of respect. This man was not only the type who had respect, but he had a heart. A true magus, would've simply discarded her for being a weak servant, and leave her to disappear, returning her back to her time, where she would have to hope that she would be summoned again, in order to find her fellow brothers, who were also divine gods. Their divinity was quite possibly very high on the scale, as they were not demi-gods, nor angels of any sorts, but gods and goddesses. A magus would definitely be impressed by this kind of score, if they had the right tools in which to help the servant. They could even become a monstrous force, as the girl in black, had experienced not too long ago. She believed she could walk, until of course, she took the first few steps, then again, it wasn't even something you could call a step, it was more like stumbles.

—She tried to walk towards him, with her stumbling steps, but instead ended up falling over, landing flat on her chest, her face barely hitting the ground. She would wince in pain slightly, as she made a cute pout, one that would definitely light the heart of many young males, who liked what most would call "Moe". She looked up at kagetora, her smile turning from a pout into a innocent expression, she was definitely not something you'd expect from a goddess, but if he thought about things correctly, then kagetora would definitely find some benefit in working with her. Not only that due to her body weight and her appearance, if he could possibly buy some clothing he could allow her to blend in with society, and even say that she was his daughter, from a different country. Whatever the case was, he had definitely made the right choice in picking her. Now, She needed him to actually literally pick her up, she had some wounds from that battle, or what you could call a a slaughter against Susano'o. "U...Um....Master....would you mind carrying me? it seems my energy hasn't yet come back to walk, nor has my body healed enough, for that matter" she scratched her head, as she made a slightly sheepish smile, looking up at him. The times between these two would definitely be....Interesting

PostSubject: Re: A chance meeting, a Gods contract   A chance meeting, a Gods contract EmptyThu May 05, 2011 4:29 pm

Indeed, he was a strange Magus - not only because he looked like a Yakuza-Boss, but also because of his genlte and kind smile. The obvious sign of someone who had not trained his entire life to become an inhuman monster known as a Magus - he had lived a rough and colorful live before. In the actual Yakuza, street gangs, as a street figher, and finally, now he was a teacher - there was a reason he was so good at relating to the problems of the youngsters...
As Amaterasu suddenly stumbled and fell down, the tall man didn't react fast enough to catch her right away, and she hit the ground flat first. Maybe it was good strategy that he got his sunglasses out right about now and put them back on to keep his 'cool and kind' appearance and figure, or else he would've maybe smirked or chuckled about how... simply cute a Servant was able to be. She wouldn't like such a comment though, for sure - Heroic Spirits had their pride.
Later on, after getting her home and out of plain view, he would have to think about how to handle his life from now on, since he couldn't hide his Command Spell too well as a sports teacher normally - maybe he would simply bandage it and say he got into a fight. Not that any of his students would believe someone was stupid enough to pick a fight with him, but it was better than nothing. With a friendly small sigh and smile, the Magus reached down to her.
"You really shouldn't push yourself when you're still not at maximum, Saber. It's not like there's a Dead Apostle behind us." Well, at least he hoped there wasn't, lately some strange happenings in this town actually hinted towards the flawed immortals. With his hands which where just as large as everything else on him, but way more gentle than any normal man, he carefully first helped Amaterasu up, before slightly going into his knees, and with a quick movement, lifted the small and light Servant into the air, sitting her down onto his broad left shoulder.
"That should do the trick." Turning his now sunglassed eyes away from the fated meeting spot that he would most likely never forget again, he said one more thing. "And as I said, simply call me Kagetora. We're partners in this mess, alright?"

Amaterasu smiled gratefully, as she stared at her new master. This was a blessing that she felt she would never be able to repay to this man, but in that case, she would protect him with her life. This was an unlikely combination, but it was because of this unlikelihood, that they may have a chance in the future, to face those monsters. Amaterasu giggled, as she was brought onto the man's broad shoulder. If only she had such a gentle giant in her past life, she lamented on that thought, before her gaze returned to the moon. "Sumi-Sumimasen!" She apologized quickly, and waved her arms around, she knew a small ounce of information, concerning dead apostles. While she wasn't an expert, as much as her master was in the information on those flawed immortals, she knew enough to know that they were dangerous, at least for the humans who stayed out at all times of the night.

"Kagetora, i thank you, and i promise, that from this day on, i will not let you down

Words spoken from the heart, escaped the petite servant's mouth as she put her hand over his forehead. She felt that by being by this man's side, there was not a single thing she could not do. Her pride was crushed, against Susano'o but tonight, she regained her former vigor, and decided that she would be strong now. Not for the master that died protecting her, not for trying to reconcile with her brother, Now, she had to be strong for this man, the master who saved her from a death filled with regrets. Tonight, the sun goddess had been reborn!
