Personality: Possessive. That is the one word that describes Yuno other than Yandere. Which, they can go hand-in-hand, in fact, for Yuno, they do. When Yuno finds an object of her affection, what she calls "another Yukkito," she becomes extremely possessive of him (or her, if desperate enough). She will annihilate anything in her path for that whom she is obsessed with. If it comes to it, she will kill her possession to prevent her from sharing him/her with anyone she deems a threat....so anyone.
However, when not a possessive and pyschotic bitch, Yuno is quite pleasant. She is a model student and is one of the top five students at her school. She almost appears to be scatter-brained, but she is incredibly nice and smart compared to a normal person. She is still clingy when not possessive, but not to the point that she'd annihilate anything in her path.

Phasing - Rank D: Yuno's only magic is close to phasing. It allows her to pass through walls by means even the original user did not understand. However, Yuno is still...new with this power. She can only pass through wooden structures or thin metal ones. However, something like a knife or a bat coming towards her would, depending on how fast and close the opponent is, give her enough time for the spell to work on those as well. However, the human would not go through her, but the blade would do no damage. It is simply a defensive magic that she can't fully control. About 1/3 of the time, the magic will not work and she'll simply run into a wall.
Background:
Yuno Gasai was born not in Fuyuki City or Misaki Town. No, not either of them. It was a town north of Mt. Fuji. A town that no longer exists. The townspeople were close to one another and there were less than 100 families in the entire town. The most prominent family were the Gasai. The Gasai (which literally means My Bride) was family of blacksmiths, loggers, and chefs. The men would either go into blacksmithing or logging, while the women went into cooking. The town was very traditional and barely had electricity. It had only three telephones to be used in emergencies only.
When Yuno was born, a traveller arrived in the town after hearing a legend of this town hidden in the forests. He arrived with the technology of outsiders and was ran out of the town, but dropped his cell phone while running. Somehow, the phone survived until Yuno was old enough to go outside and play. She found the phone and learned of the outside world. Her only friend in the village was a boy named Yukkito. She confided the cell phone's knowledge with Yukkito. Over time, she developed an obsession with Yukkito.
Yuno let Yukkito borrow the phone...but he was caught and sentenced to death. The punishment was harsh, but there was no choice. Yuno saw the body of her obsession...and snapped. Her eyes went blank. Completely blank. Void of emotion. She then proceeded to murder-no, slaughter-no, massacre the entire town. The town turned to a red river, and the culprit stood there, head to toe in blood. A smile came across her face as she took something precious to her and stuffed it into a bag before setting the entire town on fire.
Yuno took the bag and washed herself in a stream near the village. It was there she found the outsider's body. The outsider had been bound to a tree and left to starve. She found his wallet and took the money he had with him (which was quite a lot for someone to be going to a remote village). Yuno took the money and the bag and left following the stream. She eventually made it to the river that splits Fuyuki in half. She followed that river until she found Fuyuki City. Using the man's identity, she was able to get a small house that she kept the bag hidden in a safe place in. She then enrolled in the school nearest to her, waiting on someone to fill the hole left by Yukkito... |
